I’m using this product in a ranger, is too much power, but the quality or performance is just OK.

Never though having a Subwoofer!!!!!!!!
until I went in a Nissan X terra wich brings a similar Sub, and was blown because this factory stereo sounded 10times better than mine.
It is not to be noticed or hated by neighbors But For tHE lOVE OF mUSIC, BEEN 40 ,MY MAIN INTEREST ARE 80S ROCK,AND CLASSIC 50S AND 60S JAZZ !!!!.
IF YOU LOVE MUSIC AND REALLY TAKE TIME ON THE ROAD TO RELAX AND ENJOY YOULL WANT THIS , it fills a space you never noticed could ne filled.
IT IS NOT BY ANY MEANS LIKE THE KIDS YOU SEE TODAY ON THE ROAD TO EVEN MOVE YOU CLOTHES WHEN THEY GO BY,you are at the stage with this , have tried different types of music and all i can say WITH THIS I’M AT THE SOURCE!!!!!
It is for you to enjoy not for others to be annoyed
UNTIL I HEARD THAT ROCK FOS.. ON THE X TERRA I NEVER NOTICED THAT MY 6 SPEAKERS , AMP AND PIONEER HEADUNIT SOUNDED CHEAP ,all because i did not want to be seen as a kid rapper
yOU WILL NEED TO fINE tUNE OR SET THE UNIT PROPERLY AS ,DROPPING THE BASS ON THE RANGE SPEAKERS , TURNING OFF THE LOUDNESS , INCREASING MIDS AND HIGHS on head unit and let the sub do its thing, SET THE SUB TO A PROPER VOLUME DESIRED AND FREQUENCY CUT OFF
TOOK ME 1-2 WEEKS BUT IM HAPPY , THERE ARE DIFFERENT MUSIC AND SETTINGS FOR EACH music , car acoustic , speakers etc
DONT FORGET TO SET YOUR HEAD UNIT High Pass filter properly , just play with it for a couple of days with different types of music , and you wont be dissapointed as a previous customer reviwed.
My car is a music hall thaNks to this !!!!!!!!!

I also was not looking to rattle windows,I must have a problem with the bass 600 or head unit,I can only tell if the unit is working by looking at speaker for movement or putting my hand on it,there is some bass coming out of it but very little, there is no way this can be right or it would not sell, did all the things i should have, all turned up,amp and head unit.waiting for boss audio to reply to my Email for tech support.,any ideas from you all

…but it’s the best choice you can make for this kind of audio subwoofer which you can put under your seat to feel the “bass in you butt”
let me explain a little bit:
First, the power RMS output it’s not what is stated here (400W), the box says it’s 200W RMS, which i still think is about half of this power when you turn it on, because i have the Logitec X-530 surround speakers in my computer, and the subwoofer of the Logitec (which is about 25w RMS) sounds as loud as this bass600, so this bass lack a little bit of RESONANCE, that’s why you can’t hear it as loud from outside the car. And although this subwoofer fits under your seat which is great (i have a VW Polo 2003 Hatch), it’s so thin that it doesn’t let the driver to “breath” properly, to unleash all the potential, it would be great if this bass had a hole in one side for this. So if you have a Logitec x-530, you know what you can expect.
But despite that, it doesn’t matter if you listen to heavy metal or a string quartet, it will give you good, great balance to the sound of you car, considering you have just a receiver and speakers (without amp), and it reproduces ALL the notes all the way down to 20 hz, just be sure to use the settings properly, and you’ll have great bass, and clean balanced audio in your car, loud enough you’ll have to yell hard to the person next to you for he/her can hear you.
I truly recommend it…
