  1. I graduated from a Navigon 7100 to this larger clearer screen

  2. Great product to let you know about road hazards such as accidents and what not…

  3. This item came free when I purchased the Magellan Roadmate 1470. So far it hasn’t come to be very helpful but only because I haven’t encountered any serious traffic jams while using it. Really, I haven’t used it much because I bought it for my mom who uses it for work. I think it is still a great purchase though because it lets you know of slow or stopped traffic and gives you the opportunity to route around it. Not sure about the price, but glad it came free with the GPS device.

  4. Did not work, did not charge the unit, did not get traffic info, broken in the package.

  5. Not bad traffic info, but unsure of re-routing efficiency. I’ve hit a bad traffic in Cincinnati, OH. Magellan did use this traffic info to re-route me, but it put me thru a bunch of back streets with many, many lights. Was it really effective? No way to tell. Maybe I’ll run a test with my wife with 2 cars going separate ways…
