I have this Garmin phone for the past few weeks and I am loving it. Everything about this phone works great. This is a well made and designed phone that handles all my personal and business needs and more. The GPS is amazingly accurate. Great for texting, email, surfing the web, writing memos, downloading Apps, music, taking still pictures and video. Has wifi and a very strong signal for phone calls. The screen size is perfect and the images are razer sharp. As you can tell, I am really enjoying this smart phone. I made a very smart decision in purchasing this Garmin phone.

Although the screens have gotten larger and real-time traffic features may have improved the old StreetPilot c550 in my opinion is the best choice and can only be bought used since Garmin chose to delete the best feature in later versions which was the internal phone (bluetoothed) which allowed you to use the touchscreen to make calls hands free which has become the law of the land. When you searched and found a restaurant, for instance, there was a phone icon so you just push and call the restaurant/make your order/push “back” and you’re back on the route map. Smaller screen and heavier than the latest, but the most versatile and CHEAP. I bought two (one for my wife) for just $169 each (refurbished). If they ever go bad I don’t know what I’ll do. Great having an all-in-one device like the c550. Otherwise you have to have multi-devices going on in your car which is a hazard.

For me the 3750 was the perfect balance between features and price. I really wasn’t interested in the extra bells and whistles of the higher priced 3700 units so I was thrilled when I found this one. I’m upgrading from a Nuvi 250 and the difference is a quantum leap. This is just a stunning device. It’s got a huge, beautiful display. The 3D display zooms in and out smoothly. It makes my old 250 look beyond primitive. I was also shocked at how light and thin it is. The biggest improvement is that the charging is done from the base, which means no more unplugging/plugging the cable when you want to take the unit with you. You simply pop it out of the base and you’re done. There are tons of interface improvements. My favorite is that you can easily find out your latitude and longitude, nearest address, nearest intersection, as well as the nearest location of emergency services. I’ve always found the interface on Garmin units to be vastly superior to other competitors. I am thrilled with my purchase.
