Lynk & Co was founded in 2016 by Geely Group, with offices in Gothenburg and Hangzhou. The brand targets younger urban buyers and launched in Europe with a subscription-only model — a first for a mass-market automaker. All vehicles share the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform developed jointly with Geely and Volvo.
The 08 is the brand’s flagship midsize PHEV crossover: a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine combined with a 3DHT Evo hybrid transmission and a 39.6 kWh NMC battery delivering up to 200 km of electric range.
