Lotus has brought the Eletre X to Europe, a plug-in hybrid version of its Eletre SUV that is sold in China as the Lotus For Me. Orders are open, with deliveries due in Q4 2026.
Platform. Geely’s SEA-S architecture, with a 900V system. The car is 5103 mm long, 2019 mm wide, and 1636 mm tall, on a 3019 mm wheelbase.
Powertrain. A 2.0L turbo engine runs as a generator through a dedicated hybrid transmission, while two electric motors drive the wheels. The 70 kWh battery gives 350 km of electric range on WLTP and around 1200 km in total. A 10 to 80% charge takes 9 minutes on a 350 kW charger.
Two versions. The H550 makes 550 hp, reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and tops out at 210 km/h. The H1000 makes 952 hp, cuts that to 3.3 seconds, and reaches up to 230 km/h. Both ride on air suspension with dual-valve dampers; the H1000 adds 48V active anti-roll bars, six-piston Brembo brakes, and Pirelli P Zero tyres.
In Germany the H550 starts at €96,990 and the H1000 at €119,990.
