Volkswagen has fully revealed the ID. Polo — the production version of the 2023 ID.2all concept. Base variant sales start summer 2026; the top spec is already available to order in Germany.
Platform: MEB+, 2,600 mm wheelbase, 441 L boot
Powertrain: BEV, FWD, three variants:
- 116 hp · 37 kWh LFP · 329 km WLTP · 10–80% in 23 min
- 135 hp · 37 kWh LFP · 329 km WLTP · 10–80% in 23 min
- 211 hp · 52 kWh NMC · 454 km WLTP · 10–80% in 24 min
The two entry variants share LFP chemistry and range — the power difference is tuning, not a different hardware stack. Volkswagen hasn’t published 0–100 figures for either. The top variant moves to NMC for 125 km more range; 454 km from 52 kWh works out to 8.7 kWh/100km.
