Mercedes-Benz revealed its electric C-Class in April 2026, built on the MB.EA platform with 800V architecture — the same base used by the GLC with EQ Technology. Unlike a replacement, the electric C-Class will go on sale in autumn 2026 running parallel to the existing petrol W206.
The launch version is the C 400 4Matic Electric: 490 hp, 800 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The 94 kWh battery provides up to 762 km of WLTP range. DC fast charging is rated up to 330 kW.
The fastback body achieves a drag coefficient of 0.22, aided by a closed front featuring Mercedes’ Iconic Grille with 1,050 individually illuminated dots.
Inside, the MBUX Hyperscreen stretches 39.1 inches (99.3 cm) across the dashboard. An optional Sky Control panoramic roof offers adjustable transparency and a simulated starry-sky effect. Adaptive air suspension and rear-wheel steering are available as paid options. Driver assistance is handled by MB.Drive Assist Pro at SAE Level 2+, co-developed with NVIDIA.
Pricing has not yet been announced.
