Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed its electric C-Class, built on the MB.EA platform with 800V architecture. It will not replace the existing petrol W206 — the two will go on sale alongside each other, with the electric variant arriving in autumn 2026.
The launch specification is the C 400 4Matic Electric: 490 hp, 800 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The 94 kWh battery delivers up to 762 km of WLTP range. DC fast charging tops out at 330 kW.
The fastback body has a drag coefficient of 0.22. Mercedes’ Iconic Grille — a closed panel with 1,050 individually lit dots — features at the front. Inside, the full-width MBUX Hyperscreen measures 39.1 inches. An optional Sky Control panoramic roof offers adjustable transparency and a starry-sky simulation at night.
Adaptive air suspension and rear-wheel steering are optional. Driver assistance is Mercedes’ Drive Assist Pro system at SAE Level 2+, built in partnership with NVIDIA.
Pricing has not yet been announced.
