Cadillac announced the Escalade IQL, adding the long-wheelbase body to the electric Escalade lineup. Prices from $132,695 across four trims, topping out around $151,205.
The IQL is 107 mm (4.2 inches) longer than the standard Escalade IQ. Wheelbase is unchanged; the extra length goes to the third row, which gains 4.4 inches of legroom (to 36.7”). This mirrors the traditional Escalade ESV format that Cadillac has sold since 2002 — just without the engine.
Battery and range
GM Ultium platform, 800V architecture, 205 kWh battery. Cadillac’s official range estimate is 460 miles (~740 km). For reference, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV offers up to 350 miles of EPA-rated range from a 118 kWh pack; the IQL’s pack is 74% larger, so the range premium makes sense on paper. Neither Cadillac’s 460-mile figure nor the efficiency per kWh has been independently tested yet.
DC charging adds 116 miles in 10 minutes. Tesla Supercharger access via NACS adapter. Towing: 7,500 lbs (~3,400 kg).
Two power modes
Standard: 680 hp. Velocity Max: 750 hp / 785 lb-ft torque, 0–60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Inside
A 55” curved screen spans the dashboard from A-pillar to A-pillar. Below the centre console: a second vertical display. Seven seats; front chairs are 16-way adjustable with heating, ventilation, and massage on Premium trims. Night vision and AKG 38-speaker audio round out the top-spec equipment list.
Super Cruise — GM’s hands-free highway assistant — is standard across all four trims. It works on pre-mapped divided highways and requires the driver to keep eyes on the road.
